"This hotel has several different types of buildings and rooms, we chose a queen bed corner room at the end of the pier. Next to the lobster boats. It was older, a little cramped for two, but oh my, the views!! Three large picture windows with screens, on two different walls. If you want the Ritz, this isn't it, but if you love panoramic views of the harbor, vintage character, and a really cool experience of living above the water with boats, ducks, seals and birds all around you, you'll love this place. There are many other Tug Boat Inn rooms that I'm sure are newer and updated, but we loved our quaint little corner beside the boats. The restaurant was very nice- our seafood portions were huge and the desserts were amazing. The hotel service, all around, was awesome. The location and parking was perfect, also-we were on the end of the main drag, but very walkable to everything. The only reason we wouldn't give this a perfect review is just because of the age of our room and not a lot of space for luggage, etc, but we would rent it again in a heartbeat. "

"Ellen is an amazing host She went out of her way to provide a superior experience; from delicious coffee to fishing poles. The home is older, so be prepared to walk upstairs to get to bedrooms and a few bathrooms. The stairs were the only thing that a couple of our family members had a tough time with. All of the plumbing is updated and both toilets and showers had great water pressure. The water is also filtered with a UV light so we were able to drink from the faucet and their watercolor. There are plenty of places to sit for meals and to visit while enjoying the gorgeous views. There are a few binoculars to use but I would recommend bringing your own set if you have them because there is so much to see. The house is in a remote location, but so are most places in the area, plan on driving about 15-20 mins to get to the grocery store. We were able to connect with a local lobster fisherman and get fresh lobster to cook up at the house. We spent most of our days taking day trips and exploring the Maine coast! Ellen is a wealth of information for places to visit and things to do. I would recommend staying here with your family to create wonderful memories. We traveled for a family vacation with 12 people; 7 adults & 5 children ages 2.5-12. We had so much fun!! Thank you so much Ellen!"

"We came to Georgetown to celebrate our friends wedding at the Grey Havens Inn. Oakledge was the perfect location, we walked to and from the festivities over our long weekend stay. The house was pristinely clean, and we enjoyed many laughs over the breakfast table and firepit. "House was perfect for a family get together. Big enough to have spaces for individuals to be alone and spaces for everyone to gather. Beautiful location right on the water so every moment was spectacular. Our host was always available and helpful. We enjoyed the surrounding area as well, hiking, eating oysters on the river, the Botanic Gardens are fabulous -- we will definitely return!"
