Breakfast is excellent and I found myself taking pictures of the setting, its all a bit lavish and movie like. Its quite special. "The staff were welcoming, friendly and efficient. A wide range of tasty breakfast options was available and the evening meals in the White Tails restaurant were delicious. Our room was comfortable, well equipped and very clean. On the downside, the stairs were rather steep and corridors poorly lit. For tall visitors, many of the beams were hazardous; I have the scars to prove it!"

Dining options very good with both the Conservatory and Armada restaurant serving very tasty food. The only issue was very slow service at breakfast - having ordered simple mains we waited over 45 for these to arrive - unacceptable for a simple breakfast service. "The staff were perfect; so lovely and friendly. The food and drinks were incredible. But...the building is tired. The decor needs a revamp and the fixtures and fittings are in need of modernising. It's a real shame, because the staff are doing so much right, but the building itself needs a lot of investment. "
