Econo Lodge Glade Springs I-81

8/10 Good

"Kelly of the housekeeping staff really went above and beyond in helping us find a stepstool solution so my wife could get back up into our truck. Kelly also helped get her wheelchair into the room. Otherwise, our Accessible room was very clean, but didn't have a single USB outlet -- understandable with an older facility, but disappointing. The breakfast was pretty minimal (no fruit, the few pastries were somewhat stale, etc.), we had to find the coffee and make a new pot (staff nowhere to be seen) but at least the waffle machine worked. Maybe not the world's best motel, but then not the most expensive either."

Charming 3 Bedroom Cabin near Hungry Mother State Park and Back of the Dragon

10/10 Excellent

"Great three bedroom house near Hungry Mother State Park and the Appalachian Trail. Good kitchen with very fine pots and pans for meal prep. House is very clean and the area quiet at the end of Owl Ln."

10/10 Excellent

"This place was absolutely stunning and perfect for a chance to unplug and unwind. The setting was beautiful and totally secluded but it felt very safe. The cabin had all the necessities and was decorated beautifully. Sitting out on the porch listening to nature and watching deer, turkeys, and a fox was great fun. We were also visited by a small black bear during the nights. We did a lot of hiking at the nearby State Parks so coming back to the hot tub and outdoor daybed was a real treat. So peaceful and relaxing. Our Host, Ryan was great to deal with before and during our stay. He was quick to call and help us find the property when we got a little turned around. There is little to no cell service nearby so guests should be prepared to have written instructions for directions and entry procedures. The only suggestions we had were that there should be some sort of sign or markers at the bottom of the driveway. We also wished there had been a toaster and a kureig machine but we got along fine without. Overall a tremendous experience at a great property. Couples looking for a reconnect trip should not mix this one."

10/10 Excellent

"We had a wonderful stay! The property was clean and well-maintained, and the fire pit was awesome and a great highlight of our visit. The centralized location made it easy to enjoy the beautiful surrounding area. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we really enjoyed our time here. We would happily recommend this property to others!"

Cabin in the Blue Ridge.

10/10 Excellent

"We had a very large group, 10 people the house accommodated us perfectly fine. We came to ride motorcycles in the mountains, so for as much as the house and property had to offer unfortunately we did not have time to utilize. However, we plan to book again when traveling back to the area."
