The rooms have too much furniture which makes tight, tour buses block the entrance so cannot drive in (staff did not care), the parking lot is full of potholes, the price is excessive for quality compared to other Victoria properties, no AC.
Positives are the rooms were fixed nice each day, the staff did handle some requests quickly, and grounds are pretty.

Staff were great, hotel is full of history and beautifully landscaped. My room was really nice - and very clean. However, no place to put clothes that don't fit on hangars - mine stayed in my suitcase for 3 days. Thermostat didn't work (despite 3 visits from maintenance) Worst thing: I couldn't get out of the bathtub because they built the new shower wall over the ledge of the tub - and the tub was slippery. No grab rails. Spent 15 minutes trying to get out of it. No none-slip tub matt for morning shower. Motel 5 1/2 does better - and they don't charge $551/night (plus tax). Once was enough...
