An attractive historical building in a great location with a very good price compared to other places in Brisbane. The room I had was well furnished with a television and a fridge. There was a balcony too although not much of a view.
Although the front desk wasn't serviced 24 hours a day, they did have an intercom next to the front which you can call and they had keys in a safebox above the intercom. This is something ALL hotels should be doing if they don't have their reception desk open late at night. Saves guests from having to figure out how to call people up in a different country.
There was no bathroom in the room so I had to use the shared bathrooms. These could do with a bit of refurnishing. The shower cubicles were a bit small without much space to get undressed. But otherwise its a very good hotel to stay at.
Would definitely recommend this property. Yes it's old and kinda quirky, but it's in a great location, within easy walking distance of the valley and all the restaurants and clubs. Friendly staff, clean rooms and you can't beat the price!

Stayed 2 nights here before flying home. We arrived early and were able to leave our luggage until check in time. Great Mexican restaurant around the corner we ate and had some drinks at.
This property was excellent value. The building is old showing its age however it was clean, the bathroom was large with sliding screen door. There was a great shared kitchen area and the hotel is close to bus stops.

Fair location. Great welcoming and nice terrasse outside with tables
The staff were all so kind. the room was clean, aircon worked amazing and beds were super soft. They provided extra pillows and blankets on the shelves, room had a TV and storage space. The hotel itself was gorgeous.
