This larger than normal unit has some views to the south down Main Beach and sea glimpses to the north over Frenchmans Beach. Restaurants, shops, public transport and beaches are at your doorstep. This unit is spacious, comfortable and very well equipped and catches all the summer sea breezes.

Features: 3 bedrooms (2 Queen, 2 Singles), main bedroom has large modern ensuite with bath and separate shower plus 55cm TV/DVD Player, 2nd bathroom has shower and there is an upstairs powder room. Well equipped stainless steel kitchen (including dishwasher, microwave, Nespresso Coffee Machine, Panasonic Breadmaker, Sandwich Maker and Blender). Large Flat screen TV, FOXTEL, stereo and DVD Player. Large laundry with washing machine and dryer. 2 Car lockup garage with remote, gas BBQ.

birthday family get together

worn, stingy with soap, towels, toilet paper, coffee. Location great but the place is not worth the money for what you get. The towels are the smallest I have ever seen and no spare ones. No towel for the Powder room. 3 coffee pods. The list goes on just stingy owners.

Great spot, some small changes could make it a lot better.

We really liked the place but there some things that could really easily be improved and lift the overall experience. The cleaning was very poor. There were stains on the sheets and food crumbs even whole crackers between the sofa units and it just felt unclean. A few little things like providing some cooking oil, bin liners, dishwasher tablets or a spare roll of toilet paper would go a long way to improving the experience. Even if these extras were built into the price it would definitely improve guest experience to not have to start from scratch with certain very basic supplies.

The apartment is a lot larger than it sounds with views across to the sea, located near all the boardwalks with impressive views and dining options out the front.The apartment is perfect for a family, large smart tv for streaming movies if the weather isn't that great, a well equipped kitchen and a great deck for watching the whales

Saltwater 4 is a great place to stay at Straddle

Reviewer Comments: The property was in a fantastic location with very easy walk to shops and the Gorge and we enjoyed seeing whales from the unit to both the north and south. The unit was very well equipped. Our only criticism would be that the doonas could do with covers to hide stains. In saying that we have already decided to stay there again. We would gladly recommend this unit and the fantastic staff at Ray White .

The apartment was clean, spacious and had better than expected views of the ocean. We were lucky to see a whale from the deck of the apartment on our last day which was a lovely send off. Would highly recommend for couples or a family as it’s such a short walk to shops and Main Beach. Also well equipped with cutlery and crockery. The sun lounge needs repair though as if In working order, would have been a real sunbathing asset! Thanks again RW Stradbroke Island for the stay.

Modern Comfortable Unit

We had a lovely 6nights at this property overlooking Point lookout, there was plenty of walks to do. When it was raining there was a good sized TV with foxtel and a really comfortable couch. It felt like home for us we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you we will be back again!

Wonderful getaway!

Property ticked all our boxes. Having the different levels allowed us and our teens to have our own space when needed. Plenty of room also for when we all come together. Can’t wait to come back.

Great location, views and well equipped but...

Let me start by saying that under usual circumstances this would be a great place to stay. It is in a great spot near icecream, fish and chips, bakery and cafes. It have great views from the verandah and dining room. It is well equipped you can cook whatever you want it has absolutely everything. Its very comfortables and decked out in nice furnishings. The layout is also great! However all this was ruined by the fact that they decided to replace the roof while we were there. My understanding from the real estate was that it would be a minor inconvenience. This was not the case. There was constant noise banging and stomping across the roof from 7am to 6pm for 4 of the 6 days we stayed. We were unable to use the double garage due to utes and a lift being parked in front of the garage. When they removed the skylights dirt and dust fell into the stairwell which we had to clean up. The response from the real estate was pretty much nothing apart from a email blaming the building. Very disappointing.

I thought the property was amazing and very clean and the decor and layout were just perfect. The location was also perfect. The beds were very comfortable and I would definitely recommend this unit to anyone. I do anticipate returning for another visit as the whole booking process and the staff were fantastic. Thankyou so much for a wonderful holiday. The only thing that could have been more convenient would be wifi in the apartment, but the staff at Ray White provided me with a mobile modem so I could access work emails while staying on Straddie.
