"We spent a week at this lovely holiday home. It's comprised of 2 2-bedroomed cottages attached to each other but with separate kitchen and bathroom facilities. This worked brilliantly for our family of 3 teenagers and 2 adults., plus our dog. There's a beautiful courtyard as well as stunning garden with bbq, large decking area and plunge pool. "Lovely old house with some charming foibles and eccentricities. Even developed a soft spot for the robot lawn mower. Great space, 4 bathrooms (2 ensuite), well equipped kitchen (always great to have basics there - salt, oil, herbs etc), great table tennis room, big garden to kick rugby ball. Outdoor bbq plate. Terrace and view lovely. Close to airport suited our family requirement. Lots of sunny and shady spots. Some TLC needed in house - first stair step and ants/bugs in top bedroom - not...

"Gastheer vriendelijk, behulpzaam en betrokken. Erg prettig. Alles goed aanwezig voor ons behalve keukenbestek en pannen minimaal voor onze samenstelling. Zwembad super en werd goed schoon gehouden tijdens ons verblijf. Door de vele spullen en accessoires leek het lastig schoon te houden. Onbeperkt handdoeken en grote badlakens. Erg fijn dat er wasmachine en droger was met klein kind. Tuin en omgeving piekfijn in orde en sfeervol"

Not quite silence - there are sheep a couple of fields away and the hum of insects gorging on the flowers. Walks through the fields and woods in the area from the front door. Genial hosts with good local knowledge, friendly and discrete. "

We were met at the property, given all the details about the cottages and throughout, our hosts stayed in touch and were extremely helpful in providing information about eating out and activities in the area. The accommodation was extremely comfortable, well appointed and lacked for nothing. In short, we had a wonderful time and will certainly consider booking again without hesitation."

"Its a lovely family run hotel, the owner has excellant customer service skills and all of the staff make the effort to make you feel like a valued customer. Yes aspects of the rooms could do with a refresh butit is easy to overlook that. The food was very good and good value for money. It was my wife's birthday whilst we were there and when the owner realised they arranged for her dessert to be brought out with an candle in it and Happy Birthday written in chocolate!"

"Clean, sterile, functional. Rather like a renovated older Motel 6 in the states. Friendly and helpful desk clerk. Spoke enough English to help. Good shower (no tub). Room had effective heater once management turned it on, and an openable window. No space devoted to art work, although our room had a yellow wall. We opted to eat at the hotel restaurant because otherwise we’d have to drive. friendly chef and server. We opted for the menu of the day which started with a “pizza” followed by something like chicken along with some decent potatoes. Better than expected. We had low expectations. We would stay here again."
