Great stay

Lovely hotel, staff were really friendly & helpful & the breakfast was amazing! Room was good, some of the furnishings were slightly tired looking but all added to the overall atmosphere. Would definately stay again.

Excellent experience.

Very friendly and efficient check in. Rooms had all the expected facilities and level of comfort. Excellent breakfast, both healthy and plentiful. The hosts are very helpful and friendly. Looking forward to my next stay.

Booked here for 7 nights in the front room with two twin beds. For the good part, breakfasts and staff were very nice, hotel location is great for Bridport, a wonderful town. For the bad parts, Beds were uncomfortable and creaked, bathroom door squeaked, bathroom sink was tiny with no room for anything, light above bathroom mirror did not work so good luck with makeup. However these things are irrelevant in comparison to road noise, particularly over a weekend and in our case there was also a local music festival going on that we were unaware of, all of which meant that people were going home and making noise literally outside your windows at 2, 3, 4 AM, so after a night with absolutely no sleep we checked out after our third night. With three nights out of seven one would expect more refund than 20% in any quality hotel, but apparently not so with the Bridge House, so be warned.

A Gem of a Hotel

Perfect location to explore West Bay and Burton Bradstock and a short walk into the town centre. On site parking a huge bonus. Hotel had a warm and friendly feel with many thoughtful touches to enhance our stay including fresh milk for tea and coffee and an honesty bar. Breakfast was included in our rate and was excellent - choice to suit every appetite and the full 'Dorset' was cracking. Can highly recommend.

A really amazing hotel. A place with lots of history, interesting antiques around the house - it's cosy, clean, comfortable and the staff are lovely. A lovely river walk to West Bay is just across the road and you're a few minutes away from cafes and restaurants. Would love to go back!! Only potential negative is if you're not so mobile there are some narrow steep stairs. Thank you to the wonderful staff who keep the hotel immaculate and are very approachable and friendly. PS the breakfasts are amazing!

Fantastic stay, highly recommended!

We’ve just spent 2 nights staying at the hotel attending our son’s wedding at a nearby venue. My in-laws also stayed along with our son the night before his wedding. What a fantastic find, the hotel’s owners and staff went above and beyond to make our stay so enjoyable. All our rooms were beautifully decorated, very clean and had everything in it, including an iron to iron all those shirts! The breakfast was amazing (my father-in-law loved The Dorset full English) and the rooms were stocked with plenty of refreshments and toiletries. We loved it and would happily stay again.

At the age of 80 dragging luggage up/down 4 flights of stairs. Also height restriction my partner is 6.7 so had to watch his head going up & down. At the end of a four night stay we were feeling quite fit…..or was it exhausted. But a lovely clean friendly hotel.

Quaint and convenient

The Bridge House was a quaint little hotel with a very nice outdoor bar area, it was easy to pull in and park and we enjoyed a nice breakfast in the morning.
