"This was an amazing property. We didn’t know when we booked it that we were visiting during the 3 months of the year when the “storms” come often and stir up the seaweed. Unfortunately with the dirty ocean water came a foul smell - none of which was the hotels fault. We still had an incredible time at the pool, playing pickleball and tennis and exploring the island and other public access beaches on the south side of the island. The location of the hotel is perfect for peace and quiet. The grocery store, liquor store and yummy Italian restaurant right across the street were so convenient! It was a wonderful place to stay!"

However, we were so sad the Sunshine Grill was not open because their food is absolutely delicious, especially their fish tacos, and hope it will be open the next time we return. The grill is truly a gem at Sunshine. "
