"While Brattleboro was a great place to visit, the Comfort Inn was not. The floor was mildly “dewy” from the humidity of the air conditioning. The pool is much smaller than it looks in the picture. I would say the size of 2 hot tubs combined, we didn’t even feel comfortable swimming there. There’s also *only* cable tv. No on demand, no streaming services. "Everything about Viking Villages Resort was wonderful! We loved the cozy place we stayed, with an eye for small details that made it a delight. The resort is secluded and very peaceful, even with the occasional "baaa" from the nearby sheep herd on the property. There was corn hole available to play and chairs to sit out on the deck at night to stargaze. If you want a real escape, this is the place to visit.
