  • My dad's friend owns a really cool karting circuit in Pageas, a few kilometres from Chalus where I grew up in France. They are both hunters. I know this is not everyone's cup of tea, but a lot of people from that generation in rural France do like hunting, fishing, fetching mushrooms. There are woodlands all around the karting circuit. My dad and his friend have built some platforms in the trees, and from mid-October to mid-November they go there every morning to shoot migrating birds. Those ones are some sort of wood pigeons going from Eastern Europe / Russia to North Africa. I did my own shooting that morning... with my camera! The sunrise was spectacular with some nice pink colours and mist in the valley.

Villa Médicis - weekend de rêve

C'est sans doute la meilleure chambre d'hôtes qu'on n'a jamais eu -. Depuis notre arrivée jusqu'au départ absolument tout était sans faute. Une très belle Chambre avec produits fournis, une propriété totale et on s'est régalé au.petit déjeuner avec le choix et la quantité des petits plats fait maison, même des crumbles délicieusement préparés sans gluten pour moi. On a passé un temps sublime, L'attention au plus petit détail était époustouflante, en tout c'était un weekend de rêve. Mille fois Merci au propriétaire pour tous ses attentions aux plus petits détails - on lui accorde 5* et reviendrons

Tout à été parfait lors de notre séjour : l’accueil, la chambre, la situation à seulement 5 min à pieds du centre historique ou encore l’excellent copieux petit déjeuner. Bon rapport qualité prix.

Villa medicis

Très bon séjour, nos hôtes d’une extrême gentillesse et très prévenants. La villa très tranquille et confortable la chambre spacieuse tout y était pour un séjour enchanteur sauf peut être la pluie! Mais ça, personne n’y pouvait rien! Nous reviendrons et recommanderons cet établissement à nos amis.
