"The host(s) were phenomenal. Truly a relaxing get-away. If you prefer a private, quiet, and overall low-key experience I recommend! The room was beautifully decorated, the bathroom was clean and everything in the cabinet was well thought out, the “kitchen” area was adorable and perfect, and the property outside provided an immaculate view- with a super relaxing hot tub! We came during the winter, so we couldn’t explore the lake. However, another trip is in the works so we can enjoy every part! Oh! The cookies they leave out are to DIE for!!!!10000/10"

"Wish we could have contacted the host. One sleepless night because of air in the pipes. No way to turn off the water at the toilet which kept running. No water shut offs in the bathroom at all. Manually repositioning the broken flapper in the toilet after each flush was the work around. I'm sure water leaks into the sub floor because of the broken shower base.Great peaceful location. Appliances where great. Quaint cabin. In a beautiful area. "

"A cute little cottage that was clean and convenient. It was a little over a half an hour drive to Acadia, and about ten minutes into downtown Ellsworth. My kids appreciated having their own bed. The host was quick to reply to messages, and check in/out was very easy. It isn’t a luxury cottage, but it was clean and the beds were comfortable. The photos are very accurate. The bathroom had plenty of towels, a good hairdryer, and a 3-1 body wash. Bring your own shampoo, or it was cheap to purchase at the grocery store. We would stay here again. "

"Close to Bar Harbor, two bedroom arrangement was different and required good communication to get to sink in bathroom that is only source of water. "

"We had a beautiful and peaceful 5 days at the camp. The camp was immaculately clean, extremely well organized, and provisioned with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We stayed in mid-October with overnight lows around 40F and used the electric room heaters but did not need the gas heater or extra / electric blankets.The camp is roughly equidistant between Acadia National Park and Deer Isle and was a great launching point for visits to both. Highlights of our vacation included star-gazing, sunrises, and bald eagle watching from the dock on the lake; Gorham Mountain Trail and Little Hunter's Beach in Acadia; coffee at 44 North and hikes at the Edgar Tennis and Settlement Quarry Preserves on Deer Isle; and drinks at Airline Brewing and dinner at Provender in Ellsworth. Be sure to plan ahead and make reservations for dinner in Ellsworth!"

"Lovely cottage just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor. We were close enough to Acadia that it wasn’t a long drive. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with kitchen necessities. We saw deer in the yard several times. Kathy was very nice and chatted with us during our stay. "

"Our trip was for a visit reconnecting with family for a long weekend and this 3-bedroom house provided a perfect location setting for our little reunion. The house is a newer construction and was immaculate - hopefully future guests continue to keep it that way. It provided a perfect layout for my mobility challenged mother - only one step up to the porch and rest was all one floor, plenty of open space and wide door openings for her walker. The house was tastefully decorated with plenty of sitting area space and we loved making use of the gas fireplace in the evening. Ceiling fans and TV's w/Roku's in every bedroom and in the master there was even a ductless split AC so we could keep our room as cool as "I" needed. The location was on a fairly busy main road but was set back enough that you didn't even notice. It had plenty of yard space for kids or a dog to safely run around - the surrounded set back woods provided privacy and a picturesque Maine look from the beautiful deck. It was a quick straight shot into the town of Ellsworth and just keep going into beautiful Bar Harbor & Acadia National Park. l feel you are mostly renting VRBO homes on trust & faith of accurate information so I personally find it important the responsiveness of the owner - this owner did not disappoint and answered all of our questions before and during our stay. I look forward to staying at this house in future. My on regret is I didn't get to see a moose wander out of the woods - lol! "
