"Very comfortable and well equipped cabin. Conveniently located for Golden Circle destinations and beyond. Very responsive host. Communication was excellent. We did not use the 3rd bedroom open loft area but it would be fun for children to have their own space with TVs and headphones. We really enjoyed our time here and would stay again at this property."

"Could have used more information in writing in the house on systems/appliances (e.g., washer/dryer, dishwasher). The door between bathroom and two downstairs BRs needs to be shaved; it is sticking. Given such small BRs on the main level, there should at least be some shelves and/or more hooks. The sofa is REALLY worn; otherwise, the common area is excellent and attractive for a group of our size."

"Cute little cabin in a very quiet, remote location. Well-equipped but very small (there’s barely enough space to walk around the beds) so I wouldn’t recommend it for more than four people. Guests are supposed to clean before leaving but clearly, not everyone does and the bathroom was filthy when we arrived. Bad surprise! "

"An adorable quiet and private cabin with everything needed to live and cook comfortably. Ideally a washer/dryer on site would be preferred (although washing in the sink and drying on the radiator works fine). It’s ideally located for day trips around the golden circle including 2 different thermal soaking pools within 30 minute drives. You can even see the geyser erupt from the deck. The door lock sticks but we eventually figured it out."

"Upon arrival, we were impressed by the beautiful landscapes. The cabin itself was clean and modern. From the central space, one window offered a view of Icelandic horses. The other was nearly floor to ceiling where we caught sight of the Northern Lights. Renate was quick to respond and help us when we reached out. "We stayed five nights in April 2024. We were treated to the Northern Lights our first night. The house is spacious, clean and modern. The beds are very comfortable. It sleeps ten in beds.
