"Disappointing stay, especially as I have stayed here twice before and previously been very satisfied. There was no hot water or heating, making the room very uncomfortable. I was told on arrival that food orders would stop at 18:00, but not that the menu would be extremely limited with no vegetarian options. Despite being advised the hotel would close at 23:00, the bar was shut and the hotel effectively closed by around 20:30. Breakfast was equally poor, with no staff present, very limited, low-quality food, and again very few vegetarian options. Overall, the lack of basic amenities, poor service, and substandard food made this a very disappointing stay."

"Wonderful hosts, beautiful location, delicious food. I had a small room for one person, but with a large bathroom overlooking the Dales. Settle is nearby, nice town, and there´s a cosy pub up the road."

"Lots of spiders in the house which gave kids initial scare, however , overall it is a good accommodation for a families. All facilities are available for a family, such as, sky TV, good oven , hob, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, iron etc Overall we enjoyed staying there"
