"Awesome stay at Casa Dell Aqua : big space, beautiful view, nicely equipped kitchen and near a lot of nice cities. The last 10min of road are very narrow to get up the mountain but it's definitely worth the trip ! Very private, the hosts came for a few checks of the pool and gardening but we never even noticed them.Would totally recommend !"

"Very effusive welcome at check-in and help to park. Junior suite room very spacious, bed large and comfortable, I liked my pillow, OH didn’t like his. Room and bathroom clean. Hardwood floors meant wilderbeest occupants of room above kept us awake at all hours; must be migration time. Breakfast plentiful with many good things (including Prosecco) but real juice is extra, very odd. Best to stick to Italian breakfast ingredients IMO. Lucca is very compact within the walls so nowhere is very far to walk but this is a well located hotel very close to the famous San Michele. It isn’t an “excellent” hotel in the luxury category but it is very competitively priced and good value."
