"If you’re looking for personality and San Diego history in the Gaslamp District, this hotel delivers. From the vintage 1913 elevator to the cozy rooms, I truly enjoyed my stay here. The rooftop patio is a showstopper and offers a great place to relax and see the city below. Staff were courteous, the restaurant lovely, and the front desk very helpful. The bed is comfy and the in-room bar fridge is stocked. I loved the vibe here, but it’s not for you if you don’t appreciate the quirky bits that come along with a heritage building."
