We stayed at this vrbo while attending a biomedical research conference taking place at the Hilton crowne plaza. The Carriage house is tucked away on private street in beautiful Brookline. It is quiet and peaceful. The place is very close to Emerald Necklace and Jamaica Pond - it is a gorgeous area! The house, rooms, bathrooms, and linens were all clean. The kitchen was functional. We did not eat any fresh eggs, but we saw the chickens! It was extremely easy to get into the city by taking the T from Brookline Village. I really enjoyed the stay - it was perfect for our lab group!

Lovely neighborhood

This carriage house is located in a lovely setting, and it was a short walk (around 15 minutes) to the T stop, which was a great bonus!The layout of the space is unusual and not particularly comfortable for gathering, but we made due.Unfortunately, the door to the balcony was padlocked on the first morning, so we were unable to enjoy the limited outdoor space until the second day. Additionally, while fresh eggs were promised each day, none were offered.I recommend staying due to the location, but otherwise, it's not an ideal spot for gathering with friends.
