「This has been on my bucket list for some time. We had a wounderful 2 night stay and everything was perfect. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable, larger than alot of hotel rooms. You lay in bed at night and could imagine your travelling on a train. The meal was excellent, Beef Wellington to die for, so good and wonderful surroundings in a 1906 Pullman car exquisitely restored. The staff were brilliant and extremely helpful. Alot of history tied up in this place.」

「ライドから３番のバスで10分くらいの場所にあり、バス停のほぼ目の前なので便利でした。バスは30分に１本程度のようですが、グーグルマップによるとライドまで徒歩30分以内のようです。Rosemary Vineyardというワイナリーがホテルの近くにあります。ホテルの近くに夜１０時まで開いている商店があり、水を買ったり重宝しました。可愛らしい部屋で清潔に掃除されていたので、とても快適に過ごせました。ただ、シャワーの水が流れにくいので、水が溜まって足元はヒタヒタでした。ご夫婦で経営されている宿で朝食は基本的に8:30でお願いしているようです。チェックイン時間前に荷物を預かってもらおうとライドのフェリーターミナルから電話をしましたが、誰も出なかったのでそのまま荷物をもって観光しました。チェックイン時間について電話がかかってきて「少し出かけるから〇時以降にしてほしい」と言われました。全般的に快適に過ごす事ができました。」

「Stayed here over the Festival weekend. Hanger Down House is just south of Arundel and a lovely 20 minute walk into the middle of Arundel. Alison is a lovely welcoming host. The 3 en-suite rooms are in a wing of the family home. Alison made us an amazing full English breakfast every morning in the guest only private breakfast room.
