「The website did not say that the pool and patio were closed for maintenance. I specifically looked for a hotel with a nice pool and outdoor seating area. To realize it would be closed all five days of our stay was very disappointing.
The barking dogs were very annoying. I understand that I chose a pet friendly hotel; however, constant barking for three plus hours was not acceptable.」
「The hotel was amazing and the staff was very nice, but I think for the new employees should have better training. I have already booked a room and I walked up to say I would like to check in; not “May I book a room?”. And the front desk lady had asked me to pay for a room. She then had to call her manager about it and then tells me that she is new and she didn’t know about Expedia. Then they tell me that they were not able to help refund the money and wait for the manager.」
「Our experience wasn’t entirely negative, the staff was friendly and the place *mostly* appeared to be clean and must have been pretty recently renovated.
But our room smelled bad, and the AC unit especially smelled like it had significant mildew build-up in it. It also would not keep the fan on despite changing it off of auto, which would have helped cover up the noise of the very thin walls.
Our shower must not have even been examined thoroughly before our stay, as there was a used soap bar...
「Enjoyed our stay. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Pet friendly hotel that doesn't smell like dogs! Would definitely stay here again! Restaurants and gas nearby. Has that country feel.」
