We enjoyed our week in this lovely home. It is super well-equipped and very convenient to both Blue Hill and Acadia and what a lovely view! Very quiet and relaxing.

The location of the house is beautiful, peaceful and very quiet.Communication was great. The inside of house was clean, but all (4) of us felt the house needs TLC. It felt disjointed & tough to navigate as ‘older’ adults.

The house was odd, with some additions that made the layout unusual. The most disappointing was the lack of a dresser in the master bedroom and no closet in the upstairs bedroom. There weren't good places to keep your stuff. The bathrooms were really small too, which is odd for an otherwise big house.

The house in the woods was a great place to stay if you want to get away with your family. It is very private, quiet, peaceful. We enjoyed sitting outside with the view of the water (and seeing the bald eagles fly by). The house was very clean, had large bedrooms and a large kitchen. The host was quick to get back to us when we had a question. It was also within about 30 minutes to Acadia and Bar Harbor. One drawback is the only way upstairs is using the spiral staircase. It might be a little difficult for young children or the elderly. We will definitely be back!
