It's a bit of a distance away from Bar Harbor and the main entrance to Acadia, but you won't find any listing like this on Mt Desert Island, so we didn't mind the drive to get to the places we wanted to visit. It's a fabulous place to come home to after a long day of exploring Acadia. "

A few constructive criticism comments would make the stay perfect! we didn’t get checkin instructions so had to sit in driveway for 30 min calling and texting the homeowners to get code. The basement had a very strong chemical smell (recently cleaned carpets?) so we didn’t use the Bsmt bedrooms. No garbage bags or toilet paper but they dropped some off after requesting. Beds comfortable. Coffee maker broken. The main bathroom window needs a shade or...

"Hadley Point Hideaway was the perfect place for my wife, son and me to spend our Bar Harbor vacation! Close to everything, but far enough to be out of the touristy areas! We loved hiking through Acadia and enjoyed the great restaurants! We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this great VRBO experience!!!"
