Alberts, October review.
Fine accommodation in a good position. Close to the main centre of Blackpool, Tower, Winter Gardens, 10 minutes walk from the train station. Breakfast was good and prepared and served to your table. Would definitely go back. If you struggle up stairs ask for a lower floor. Good value.
The hotel is in a decent location but has no parking. I had to park half a mile away as parking on the street is limited to 90 minutes and the nearest car parks are have very limited spaces. I booked the hotel as it had a bar and I was with my 12 year old daughter and thought we would be limited as to where we could go. Unfortunately said bar is only open Thu to Sun but the owners recommended other hotels on the street open to non residents which were excellent. We were woken in the morning by water coming through the light fitting on to the bed meaning we had to get up earlier than intended. We were told this was due to the shower in the room above. This spoiled what would have otherwise been a pleasant stay.
Hotel was clean but dated for £142 you would expect breakfast. When i asked about breakfast was told no you have to pay when booking .when i asked if we could pay at hotel told no

Very basic and small rooms but clean and very central
Very friendly staff at the hotel. Very helpful us feel welcome. Very good breakfast (freshly cooked after you had ordered) with plenty of variety. Non-cooked options were available. The room I stayed in was very clean with a good shower in the en-suite bathroom. Only a short walk from the Tower and Winter Gardens. I would be very happy to stay in this hotel again if I need to stay in Blackpool.
We were a party of 3, 2 adults and a 9yr old niece who lives with us.
From the start we were made welcome by Jennie.
We arrived a little early but Jennie told us to take our things up and then just go and do what we wanted to do. I stayed downstairs while Norman and Meadow took out things upstairs( I'm using a stick at moment ) Meadow came down full of things to say about how lovely the room was :)
While we were a little high up, it's an old establishment in a seaside town, it's more or less what we expected. The room was lovely, very clean , bright and fresh looking .
We spent time on the front and piers etc , before going back to get changed for our night out at Viva la s Viva , ( enjoyed by all, especially the princess of the night .. Meadow )
We all had a good night sleep, no negative comments on that from any of us.
Breakfast, excellent! George is a very amenable host, he was taking the orders and waiting on out front . Jennie was chef, the full cooked breakfast was lovely, I only ate the bacon from mine, the rest was shared between Norman and Meadow. It was very hearty.
No complaints at all. There's cereal , fruit juices, yoghurts, fresh fruit etc for you to help yourself to .We would certainly go back to The Albert Hotel :)
