"Clean room, easy access to the main street. Breakfast, though not huge choices, there was plenty for us. Super friendly staff to us and our dog. Very dog friendly, in fact. The only complaint I have is the coffee makers not being in the rooms. I made due with having to wait for the coffee to be made in the eating area (6am). However, everything else was great. "

"We wanted to travel to Yucca Valley in order to observe the Geminids meteor shower in December. The Joshua Tree area is exceptionally free of light pollution and was recommended as an ideal location for stargazing. We had a large number of family that were going with us so we needed a property that would accommodate everyone.This property fit the bill perfectly! It is absolutely huge, with multiple comfortable beds in each room. There is a giant gas fireplace in the common area which was inviting on the chilly nights. Outside the back patio area had many opportunities to sit around the pool and also do some stargazing if we didn't want to leave the property late at night.Usually I bring spices because some rentals have little or no spices for cooking. There were a lot of spices in the kitchen, even turmeric, garlic powder, cumin, etc. that were so very helpful. I felt like I was in my own kitchen.The house was exceptionally clean and well maintained. There is a hot yoga room and a fun game room where we spent a lot of time also.There is ample parking on the property for a number of autos, so no parking on the street was necessary.Although it sounds incredibly remote, I had no trouble using delivery services like instacart or doordash. Internet connection was strong and we had no problems with it at all.All in all, I would come here again in a heartbeat!"

"The space looked exactly like the pictures (with some slight wear and tear) including the spectacular sunsets. I paid the extra fee fir the heating of the pool which was well worth the cost in November. We would definitely stay here again."

"I cannot say enough good things about this place and the owners! Monica and Skip were very responsive from the start and they do a really good job of informing guests of tips and how to use amenities without being overbearing or sounding snippy. And they do such a good job of caring for this AMAZING house! The beds were comfortable, the house is spacious and well-insulated, the kitchen is great for cooking and well stocked with pots, pans, knives and spices. Toiletries in the showers and plenty of nice towels. Plus their checkout list is easy-peasy, not ridiculous. But the absolute highlight is the yard. The pool is heated perfectly--we used it every single day. It has a nice shelf for sitting and it's great for kids who maybe aren't as confident swimmers. The hot tub is also incredible for relaxing under the stars or soaking after a hike. The whole place feels loved and homey, but also clean and modern. My small women's group absolutely wants to come back!"
