The staff are unfailingly professional, corteous and attentive. I have no reservations in recommending The Madonna Inn to anyone who is seeking the very best in accommodation and hospitality."

"My second time staying here. This is a near-perfect small hotel. Located right in the middle of SLO's wonderfully walkable downtown. My room was very large, with a very generous patio. Excellent shower, excellent bed. The place has the feel of a good place o work, a nice vibe. Restaurant is top-notch, especially for a hotel restaurant. One very small complaint. And this is for all hotel designers everywhere: Leave the lights alone. Use normal switches with rheostats. Don't make me study the instant I enter the room. "

"Room was clean, staff was OK. Breakfast was quite ordinary, nothing special. Pool on the roof was looking very good. But we couldn’t use it since we didn’t have the swimming suites. Hopefully next time.."

"DIRTY, insect in my room floor not swept or vacuumed. Ice machine worked one day and the next day not working, I put $2.30 in the soda machine and couldn’t get anything out and it wouldn’t give back my money. And the manager said that it’s not responsible for monies lost. I don’t recommend this motel "

"Unfortunately, there was a problem with other guest at around 12:49 am. There was screaming and fighting outside. I'm not sure if the hotel staff tried to stop the unruly behavior which was disrupting the sleep of the other guest. Other than that, the hotel is good for an overnight stay and breakfast was typical."

"We had a wonderful stay for cal poly mom’s weekend! Great location, super clean beautiful home, and an excellent host who communicates well! If it’s available, we will stay here again on our next visit to SLO!"
