Lovely Cottage very rural and peaceful , hence lower mark for local amenities , good for exploring local towns , countryside and beaches , perfect for holiday with dogs.
Great shame COVID has caused some essential items to be removed which would have made stay better, and we would have then given higher scores. But better that than no holiday!.

Such a beautiful cottage in a stunning location.
Such a beautiful cottage in a stunning location. We loved our stay and could see so much effort that had gone in to the property and site. Cottage well suited for a family of four and was well laid out. Location wise it was in a gorgeous part of the county and easy to get to many nearby places.
There were a few minor things to improve but nothing to put you off a wonderful stay.

We had some issues with DVD player taken out of use and having to take more of our utensils of our own due to covid 19. We also had to take our own recliner chairs as the garden furniture (due to covid 19) was out of use. All of this was no great problem. We bought our own DVD player to use, but did not use this in the end as the weather was excellent for the 2 weeks we were there and we loved the size of the garden.

We enjoyed our stay at Oak Cottage.
We enjoyed our stay at Oak Cottage. It's near the lots of places to explore - particularly Clovelly and Hartland and we used as base to see Ilfracombe, Barnstaple and Bideford. My husband loved the gallery in the main sitting area - could escape up there and we found lovely walks in the grounds with the dog.
