「Great host, Rose cares about her guests you can tell that right away. The room we stayed in was beautiful, the cleanest I think I’ve ever stayed in and it was fully stocked with soaps, coffee & even makeup wipes for my wife. Rose accommodated dietary restrictions for our breakfast no problem. The perfect place to stay for couples visiting Port Hope and looking for something a bit more special than a hotel. Summertime would be even better. 」

「My wife, our dog and I had an excellent stay at the Checkerboard guest house in Cobourg. The beds were comfortable, the house was clean and as advertised, and was only about 2km from downtown. Our host, Tish, was easily available and responsive to our requests. We needed a pet friendly place, and this fit the bill perfectly!」

「Highly recommend! This hotel is a tiny bit dated but otherwise the best hotel I’ve stayed at this year. We stay at hotels at least 6-8 times a year between my kids different competitions and will be recommending this hotel to anyone staying in Peterborough. Staff were great, pool was heated, hot tub was actually hot. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Appreciated the free breakfast that had early hours so I could actually use it. 「This was an awesome experience! As an animal lover it was a great short getaway! The fact you r able to stay inside the with the alpacas and the sheep is a great experience. I felt extremely comfortable in the cozy little cabin, and honestly slept better than I’ve slept in years;)! 「翌日9時前に出発するVIAに乗るため探したホテルです。高速を降りて直ぐの所にあります。二階建ての小規模な田舎のホテルですが、室内は清潔で十分な設備がありました。朝食込みのお値段もリーズナブルで卵料理も付きます。朝8時15分にタクシーを呼びましたが、あいにくすぐにはつかまりませんでしたが、フロント係が必死に探して下さり、無事駅に着きました。駅へも一本道ですので、とても便利です。」
