"The hotel was adequate but not great. Room was a bit run-down, with visible mold in some places. Shower leaked onto the bathroom floor requiring multiple bath mats to hold back the flood. Shampoo was poor quality - hair just didn't feel clean. We ended up using our own after the first day. Check-in process was odd that you had to call a phone number to have the person let you in and meet you at the desk. It seems like there is only one person running the entire property. Breakfast was actually pretty good, and the service was very attentive."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Plas Penaeldroch Manor. The hospitality was truly exceptional; the staff was warm, accommodating, and made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived. The entire property was immaculately clean and well-maintained. Traveling with our two boys and our dog can sometimes be challenging, but the comfortable and spotless environment made our stay completely stress-free. It was the perfect base for our trip to Snowdonia. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a high-quality stay in North Wales!"

"Room was clean with bath towels, hand wash, shampoo provided. Small shower cubicle. Plentiful storage in room. Hand towel and more clothes hangers would be useful. Housekeeping only available by request from nearby Indian restaurant. Guests have access to dining room with fridge and also outside terrace. Central position in Betws y coed. Would stay there again without hesitation."
