Lovely place with spectacular mountain/lake views, playground for kids, swimming pool, fitness and SPA. You can rent a bike, walk near the lake or pick up any of the paths to explore the area.

Loud music around the pool all day long. Most of the guests are families with children or senior citizens. The birds singing, the quiet nature is something that makes this place unique. I would strongly recomend to forget about music

A mountainous, relaxing getaway!

The resort is located in a mountainous region and it is surrounded by beautiful greenery. It's a relaxing place great for a family vacation or a couples retreat as there are amazing spa and wellness activities as well as a picturesque outdoor pool looking out into the valley.

It was like a dream staying at Aurora. There was heaps of snow which made it feel like a winter wonderland. Our room was very clean and had a comfortable bed as well as heated flooring which was very nice. The staff were also very friendly.

Relaxing and peaceful. The restaurant service could use a bit more friendliness. The waitress had no interest in explaining the menu choices. We used the spa. It's an additional charge of 10 euro per person to use steam room, sauna, and indoor pool. The pool temperature was too cold, we were expecting a heated pool. Other than that, we were happy with our stay.

Die Lage ist super. Die Hotel Anlage ist mitten im Grünen. Die Zimmer sind sauber. Das Bad ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber sauber. Das Personal ist freundlich. Bei Buchung von Halbpension hat man die Auswahl zwischen 3 Hauptgerichten. Die Aussicht und Lage von Pool ist Klasse. Schade ist, dass es hier wenig bis kaum einen Kellner gibt für Getränke. Die Poolbar war leider geschlossen. Man kann jederzeit Massagen buchen. Leider ist der Therapeut etwas hektisch. Man kann nicht so richtig entspannen. Der Parkplatz ist mit auf dem Gelände des Hotels und somit abgeschlossen. Alles in allem ein schöner entspannter Urlaub mit Möglichkeiten zum Wandern, Stadtbesichtigung Berovo etc.

Voor Macedoniesche begrippen zeer hoge standaard. Qua locatie schitterend. Helaas vonden wij het qua bediening en service iets minder dan we gewend waren in Macedonia. Kwam ook door covid periode. Geen airco, hou daar rekening mee.

Zuurstofrijke omgeving, de longen van Macedonie.

Het resort ligt in een bosrijke omgeving aan een doodlopende weg langs een stuwmeer. De weg zelf eindigt bij een verlaten grenspost met Bulgarije. Vanaf daar een mooie wandeling of mountainbike tocht langs een schapenboerderij waar je ook wat kun eten en drinken. De weg begint in het plaatsje Berovo waar diverse supermarkten zijn en een kleine markt. Om te winkelen is de plaats Strumica een aanrader en van alle gemakken voorzien. De kronkelende weg er naar toe is 50 km en heeft prachtig uitzichten met haarspeldbochten over de vallei waarin Strumica ligt. Het resort ligt op een eigen heuvel en is volledig afgeschermd. Even op de bel drukken en de hekken gaan voor je open naar de parkeerplaats met een apart gebouw met de receptie .Het terrein is kindvriendelijk met speeltoestellen, veel tamme pauwen, mussen, roodborstjes en konijnen. De kamers zijn in diverse gebouwtjes ondergebracht en hebben prachtig uitzicht over de heuvels en de stuwdam die met een trap even buiten de poort makkelijk is te bereiken en een mooie wandelpad aan het stuwmeer heeft. Centraal op het terrein ligt het restaurant, waar je op het overdekte terras kan eten met uitzicht over het eigen zwembad (met overdag muziek) en de heuvels. Even langs het ontbijtbuffet en dan genieten op terras in de ochtendzon. Voor het avondeten hadden wij half-board en dat was vanaf de menukaart en meer dan prima. In het weekend kan het er druk zijn met feesten en partijen zoals vaker in Macedonië. Doordeweeks helemaal top.

Pristine mountain location.

Clean mountain air, cooler temperatures, beautiful manicured gardens. The room was huge and had everything you would expect. Wish we had stayed longer.
