There was plumbing issues in room 585. There was a lot of dust in the room. I found bugs in the locker for my bed inside the room. The bed is clean though

A central budget-friendly comfortable hostel.

This is a good centrally located hostel. It is well kept, tidy and friendly staff. The beds are simple but good. Basic breakfast available at extra cost. Overall a good centrally located budget alternative accommodation for those that do not require maximum comfort - it is a hostel, not a hotel.

The room was clean and modern. The location is around 10 mins walk to train station. Common area is nice. However, the room didn't have fan and air-conditioning and was quite hot. The street was noisy in the night.

Not bad for a hostel, clean for the most part, and decent amenities and product. Staff would rather have personal conversations than check people in and the front door is locked even during the day, the only way you’re getting in is to somehow get the front desks attention.

No AC or any form of ventilation makes it a nightmare to sleep in during a very hot summer. No wifi in rooms as it only works in the main lobby and no laundry service. On the positive it was clean and staff was nice and helpful.

Easy check-in, checkout process. Convenient location. WiFi did not work in my room. So had to rely on my phone hotspot or sit in lobby area. Room was relatively clean with storage for personal items. The only issue is that bathroom water was overflowing into the living space. In the end, it IS a shared space so roommates cannot be guaranteed. It was a mixed experience for me as a few people were really loud for part of my stay, including watching videos without headphones and talking on speaker phone late at night.

A grubby Generator that also has bed bugs

Yuck. Fat bed bugs. Filthy showers. Staff doesn't do proper cleaning. I stayed for several days and there was some crusty stuff on the bathroom faucet. I felt dirtier after using the sink to wash my hands. No one ever bothered to clean them in all the time I was there ! Several of the showers were missing curtains, and someone had cut little holes in the remaining curtains, so they could peek at those who were taking showers without a curtain. Have always had good experiences at other Generators, but not this one.
