Loved the hotel and location. The hotel restaurant's food was very good. The breakfast buffet was very good as well. Staff were exceptional. The room was very nice and the view was absolutely stunning. There was a supermarket right in the same parking lot which was very very convenient. I wish there was a shuttle bus because the walk up the steep hill with suitcases were a workout. Other than that, I would definitely stay there again.

An absolutely fantastic hotel, great facilites and we loved the crazy aesthetic. Friendly staff and great location. However, breakfast was always busy and it was difficult to het a seat.

Downside: The room was lacking in plug sockets, we only had a double socket by the window but because we are from UK and need to use adaptor plug it then meant we couldn't use the 2 Nd socket as blocked by adapter. Would be helpful to have plug sockets or charging point for phone by bedside

Comfortable overnight stay

The buffet breakfast was nice, on the 5th floor where one could get a nice view of the surrounding neighborhood. The presence of a supermarket next door was also nice. But it is a long 30 min walk from the train station, the rain doesn't help, and really not near the shops and sights.

This was the 2nd stay at this property. I was pleased that they read my first review and I was offered a bigger room at no cost which was very appreciated :) The hotel is very nice and the included breakfast was very good - special shoutout to the lady who manages the breakfast - she is very nice and very pleasant to talk to and she made the breakfast more enjoyable.

Magic Hotel Solheimsviken is located a short walk from the light rail stop and approximately 20-30 mins walk to the city centre depending on your pace. The staff were friendly, breakfast had a good variety of options each morning and my room was comfortable with all the necessary features. I wouldn't hestiate to stay here again on another visit to Bergen.

Solid place to stay

The staff seemed pretty welcoming and kind the entire time. The room was good for the price ask, and I was able to sleep pretty comfortably without any real interruptions. The location is decent. It is just a couple light rail stops from Bergen Sentrum (city center), so you won't have to worry about any major distance disparity when it comes to getting close to all the main attractions of the city. This place just seems good for all sort of travelers and a great fit for solos who want to just have genuine alone time.

Good Budget hotel, elevators are bit old but makeover is good, lighting in the rooms not great & it was very almost dark for most of the stay. Breakfast doesn’t have much variety but it is enough for a healthy & heavy meal.

This hotel has bigger room than expected. It has a very roomy living room with a good size dining table, which makes the stay very comfortable. It even has a refrigerator. On the other hand, it does not have a cup that would hold hot water, which makes it impossible to use the hot water pot and coffee maker.
