"We chose this spot as it was located centrally across from the famous Cheateau de Vizille and close to the local cafés. The apartment was clean and quiet and had a washer AND dryer, which was great as we have been travelling for weeks and often had to dry our laundry by hanging it. The host disclosed ahead of time that they did not provide towels, but they gave us towels when we asked which was kind. "Our host Hervé, Amélee and family are really nice people. Although the studio is part of their home, we were given the utmost privacy, seeing them on the odd occasion. The studio is a super base to explore the region, and is close to the lake, and cycle route. We rarely used our vehicle, instead, cycling to Annecy and Doussard. The area is a great place for outdoor activities, and although we visited in the summer, no doubt it would be an excellent winter holiday base. We look forward to...
