If you want to explore more, Mapua Wharf awaits just a scenic 33-minute drive away. This charming waterfront destination is renowned for its eclectic mix of boutique shops, inviting cafes, and delicious seafood dining. Or swing by Ruby Bay, known for its stunning coastal scenery, recreational fishing, and shellfish gathering.

Nearby, Pic's Peanut Butter World in Nelson is a must-visit where guests can experience the art of peanut butter making, sample various flavors, and shop for products on-site.

A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home, sitted in one the best tiny house in Belgrove, with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, outdoor seating, and a gas BBQ on request. The bathroom, however, follows ecologically sustainable principles, including an eco-friendly cassette toilet, hand basin, and gas-heated shower for your use.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny house, golf course, licenced cafe with pool table, TV, and table tennis facilities by prior arrangement with the host 24 hrs before arrival.

- We have a 9 or 18-hole round of golf or disc golf per person staying for an extra cost
- We also have a “Licensed One Shot Cafe” that serves light meals and refreshments with advance notice.
- Paintball field is accessible to guests and is depending on whether it is in use. It may be open for a few hours between 10.30 a.m. and 5 p.m. (mostly on weekends).

Getting Around:
By car:

- 2WD access
- 15 mins drive from Wakefield
- 35 mins drive on SW on SH6 drive from Nelson
- For local supermarkets, bakeries, and eateries, Richmond is a short 22-minute drive away, and the nearby town of Brightwater is just 13 minutes by car.

If traveling by public transport from Christchurch to Belgrove, NZ, follow these steps:

1. Flight to Nelson, NZ: Catch a flight from Christchurch International Airport (CHC) to Nelson Airport (NSN). The flight duration is approximately 50 minutes.

2. Travel from Nelson to Belgrove, NZ: From Nelson, you can rent a car or take a bus to travel to Belgrove. Belgrove is located about 44 minutes away from Motueka, which is a drive of around 45-50 minutes from Nelson.

This route allows you to experience a quick flight followed by a scenic drive through the beautiful Nelson Tasman region to reach Belgrove.

Other Things to Note:
- We have a friendly dog on-site
- No smoking allowed inside the tiny home
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Clean, filtered drinking water is available on site

- Vodafone, 2degrees, and Spark services are weak in the area
- Compost/recycling bins are provided to dispose of rubbish properly

- WiFi and TV are available 200 metres away from the tiny house, please ask host for more details

- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
- Please note that occasional motor homes may park over for the night, but your view and privacy will not be obstructed.


Important note:

- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban

- Due to the dam, waterways, and potentially unstable rocks on the golf course, we advise guests be cautious when exploring, and children be accompanied by an adult.

- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the [compost/cassette] toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
