「We stayed at the green dragon a few years ago and it was great so we booked again expecting a similar experience. It has definitely gone down hill since our last visit, particularly the food and service level. This morning we left at 9:00 and other guests that had prepaid for breakfast couldn’t even get into the breakfast room to eat as there were no staff around! 「We were shown to our room which was a good size with a large bathroom. Fresh milk available from the fridge on the landing for a cuppa. We had dinner here,very tasty chicken and salad on flatbread. Our breakfast was also lovely,freshly prepared and good quality. Cereals,juices and toast available along with a full English or other options. 「The Village Inn was the perfect place for a stopover while travelling further south. Ideally located a short distance from Northallerton. Large car park, restaurant with a really good menu choice and very reasonably priced. The room was extremely clean and comfortable with heating you can control yourself. Powerful shower and very hot water. Breakfast was great, with choices of full English, Vegan, cereals etc. I would highly recommend the Village Inn to everybody looking for somewhere to stay...

「The Buck Inn is in a prime central location on a picturesque street. I think some of the recent reviews are unfair. Richmond is an expensive town and most places charge £160 to £180 per night. The Buck Inn charges £85 a night for a double and that includes a very good breakfast. The room is a large en-suite with tea/coffee/hot chocolate facilities and a fair sized tv.
