The property is dated throughout. I would definitely not call it a "Chateau", more like a lodge. The bedroom in our loft had an old CRT TV in the room, only the living room had a flat screen.
The hot tub was not hot enough, it was not much better than "warm."
The bar/restaurant was great, but could benefit from a broader selection of Okanagan wines.
All of the people were friendly, but could not make up for the poor initial impression with the extra charge and the dated facility.
The Hotel was closing on Monda April 22 and hot tub was already “out of order” on Sunday night, despite we fully paid 3 nights, we could not use hot tub after long day on slopes.

Good ski in ski out location.
We have had an excellent stay at this hotel before; it is an amazing location. However, it can be loud at times due to its proximity to restaurants. The main reason we rated this low was cleanliness was slightly under par, but mostly the bed was very worn and uncomfortable and the bedding was very minimal. The sheet had a hole in it and the 'comforter' barely covered the bed so that with two people in the bed there was hardly an coverage. We would stay here again though, maybe bring our own bedding just in case.
Loved location and room, only exception is firm bed and was in between to very noisy families that were together. Should have put them together. Restaurant was excellent.
Comfortable hotel/condos with friendly and helpful staff. Nice hot tub too which we never found too crowded. Great location right next to the slopes - not quite a ski-in though as it's up a small hill.
Great location near the central mall, grocery store, restaurants, etc. Room was clean, staff were helpful. We did experience problems with the wifi and TV for a couple of days, but that was probably a good thing for the kids anyway. I would recommend this place to others.
Château Big White is in the perfect location to ski Big White. it is in the heart of the village close to restaurants and shops. Ski in and ski out from the hotel. Our room had a kitchenette, loft with queen size bed, two TV s and pull out couch. It was perfect for our family.
We stayed here for 4 nights recently in a loft suite, and were quite happy with our choice of hotel. The location is great- right in the village, close to the grocery store and restaurants. The room was a decent size, with a separate loft bedroom for my husband and myself, and my teenage son was sleeping on the foldout sofa bed in the living area- enough room for the three of us. The kitchen was reasonably well stocked- my one gripe is that there was no oven. Had I known that before leaving home, I would have packed slightly different food to take with us. We did very much appreciate the extra empty drawers in the kitchen, living area and bedroom as it meant we could store our bits and pieces away, instead of leaving it all in bags and having to rummage around every time we needed something.
The staff were all wonderfully friendly and super helpful with whatever query we had.
Our biggest issue with this hotel would be the ski/board storage area. It was tiny and cramped- and there was not enough room for all the snowboards as unfortunately skiiers had locked their skis in most of the board bays. My husband's board suffered 3 large chunks taken out of the edges on 2 separate nights of storage from negligence of others when putting their boards away, no doubt because of the cramped conditions. The hotel did however thoughtfully provide locks for locking up our gear, which was great.
The bed was not comfortable at all, we had a room with a loft which was great. It was extremely hot at night in the room, there was a ceiling fan but is was soo noisy it would wake us up at night. Also one of the element on the hot plate didn't work. The staff was really friendly and care about the guest.

Great family day stay.
Was worried about the proximity to the elevator and the ski locker (room 208), but it ended up being fine. Loft suite was nice and ample in six for our family of four, but would be cramped for a family with kids older than 10. Great weekend of skiing.
