「Stay was wonderful, there was a hiccup with one of the appliances but it was quickly coordinated and resolved the next day. Very family friendly, quiet neighbors, stone throw away from Big Bear village and not to mention the lake access was so convenient. Communication with the property manager was quick and easy. That communication with the company is a very big deal for me. Knowing that I can reach the manager and have issues resolved right away is a big indicator of how this company works....

「Overall very happy with the location. It isnt a ski in/ski out but its a very short walk to snow summit. Its perfect for families with small kids since you can walk from the slopes back to the unit fairly quickly. We will be staying in the same area when we go back to big bear. 」

「This condo was gorgeous! It's perfect for a couple and just as great if you have kids! Everything was clean, there is a big tv in the living room and one in each bedroom. The fireplace ads a romantic touch and the balcony is great to barbeque or just chill on. The view on the balcony is of the pool and Jacuzzi which are both clean and a nice treat. Boulder bay is walking distance for fishing or a picnic. The location is perfect! I called the host, (Mario), the day we arrived. Very nice...

「Bigger and more well-appointed than expected! A few small hiccups were addressed quickly by management (listing initially said that one of the bedroom had 2 twins, which turned out to be a queen). Convenient to slopes at Bear Mountain, but too far to walk to the lifts for our 5 year-old, especially with gear. The area behind the unit was perfect for playing in the snow. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would return!」

「Great location, walk to Snow Summit.It is an older unit, but still very nice.It was clean, but we did find dishes that were not clean.No can opener was a small issue. But we would stay again.」

「It is a great location. My husband easily walked to the lifts. Our only knock is the bed in one of the bedrooms was so hard my husband had to sleep on the couch. The kitchen had everything we needed. If you are planning on baking cookies or the like make sure yo bring a cookie sheet. 」

「There’s plenty of paces to sleep. But 4 of the beds are twins, so I would not recommend those beds for adult males. The master has a king bed, and there is also a pullout upstairs. The kitchen desperately needs new pots and pans. Most of them I wouldn’t trust to cook in. The location is great.」

「I'm a 75ish old guy who likes to ski storms and I hit a great one for my stay. The ideal element of this place was its immediate proximity to the slope—true ski-in-ski-out in three feet of new snow. The jacuzzi tub was very, very nice, and the view from the master bedroom to the slopes was brilliant. I dug out the car twice, (wish there had been a garage) but the run out of the parking spot was down hill. and the very active work on the part of the HOA made sure I was dug out for an early...

「We had a great stay at Barefoot By the Bay. The cabin was roomy and comfortable and super close to everything we wanted to do it Big Bear. The only complaint was that parking seemed a bit unorganized, our neighbors seemed to have many cars and took our spots that were designated to us.」

「The cottages were cozy and charming. They were close to stores and restaurants. There is also Pineknot trail area close by which is great for hiking and snow play. 」

「The house is roomy and luxurious. The great room is very open and great for entertaining. The kitchen was well stocked. The bedrooms each have en-suite bathroom. We had a wonderful time and have saved the property for next time.」
