"Had a lovely stay in this cottage. Living area was comfy . There were places to hang clothes but no drawer space for underwear etc this was a bit of a let down , otherwise a lovely place to stay. Surrounding scenery was lovely. Would consider staying here again ."

"This was my 2nd stay of 2025 and it was just as excellent as my first in January. The staff are super friendly and Gill and her team prepare an outstandingly clean and comfortable environment. New shower head is excellent!! Can highly recommend this accommodation and look forward to another short stay very soon."

"Stayed at Woodpecker cottage with friends. The place is lovely, was super clean and tidy, and beautifully finished. Instructions for everything left to hand, so we were able to use the log burner and hot tubs without too much faffing. Location is lovely and quiet, we visited a few local places as recommended by the owners. Enjoyed a really chilled weekend. Thank you"

"Stayed with friends - 4 adults. Very comfortable with lots of space. Bedrooms were amazing, both en-suite. Kitchen/dining/utility area was immaculate and well equipped. Lounge was large and airy with patio doors to a small outside area. Beautiful inside and out and very peaceful. Owner was lovely - left fresh eggs, biscuits etc. We definitely will return and highly recommend"

"Lovely place to stay very peaceful cottage we had was very clean and spacious only downside was going out for the day we were back by mid afternoon as the roads were winding countryside roads no lights you could easily get lost in the dark otherwise it was spot on"

"Second time staying here and it was lovely again. We enjoyed the hot tub and having the robes and slippers for each person is a lovely touch. The house is spotless and has everything you’d need. Beds are comfortable and the location is so peaceful. The only downside is it’s hard to find, we arrived at night so it was very dark and sat nav doesn’t take you directly to the house. We would definitely stay again despite this and just arrive during daylight."
