「This property is on a quiet street and our rooms were lovely and clean. The owner is very engaging and caring. I was a bit apprehensive coming to South Africa, but “Lord Flanegan” as I call him made us feel welcome and safe. He is very helpful and generous with his time. Oh and the breakfast. Thx Stewart. 「The property is in a beautiful location with access to a beautiful beach. Gardens/pathways are well maintained. The spa is excellent. Small problem areas are - teapot in room still full of old tea/rust colored water in the kettle/wooden strip above the lounge curtain fell off/dinner was mediocre (risotto was terrible - stodgy lump)/back of house area behind our villa had garbage lying around. Devil is in the details. 」

「The River Guesthouse is absolutely stunning with a beautiful river view. It is in pristine condition with amazing decor, and is quite impressive. The rooms are well designed, comfortable and spacious with comfortable beds, television, end tables, chairs, cabinets and countertops. The bathrooms are clean and bright with plenty of water pressure and hot water. The breakfast room is gorgeous, and breakfast is delicious and made to order.
