"Property was overbooked so our ONLY option was staying in a dilapidated apartment complex under construction 800 meters away. The only positive thing I can say is that there was hot running water and a front door. No AC, broken stove, no wifi, construction and upstairs noise nonstop."

We couldn’t understand why the place was mostly empty, but we stayed mid-week, and the place clearly caters to Italians (even the spa menu was only in Italian). "Exceptional property, luxurious rooms and professional, gracious service. My daughter got sick on a holiday weekend and the staff managed to find a physician to come to the room to treat her. They went out of their way to make the stay comfortable and special for us. The room was well appointed and always cleaned or turned down in an inviting way. They have a firepit and rocking chairs out in the cloister area - which was very charming and decorated for the festive holiday season."
