Spanning five inviting floors, Barton House showcases stunning views overlooking the beautiful nature of Queen’s Square and the charming cobbles of Queen Street.

Perfect for gatherings of friends and family, our centrally located haven accommodates up to 14 guests. With its ideal location and ample space, Barton House is the ultimate sanctuary for your stay in Bath.
Our glorious Georgian townhouse on Old King Street is the perfect blend of old and new. A historic property right in the heart of the city, lovingly restored with all modern essentials whilst retaining many period features adding to its charm. The house spans five floors and boasts superb views looking out to Queens Square and the pretty cobbles of Queen Street. Barton House is the ideal central bolt hole for gatherings of friends and family, sleeping up to 14 people.

The spacious holiday home is equipped with 4 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms , a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a fully equipped kitchen that provides guests with a dishwasher, an oven, a washing machine, a microwave and a toaster.
Towels and bed linen are provided in the holiday home. For added privacy, the accommodation has a private entrance and soundproofing. The unit has 9 beds.

Spacious attractive property in a very central location

Very spacious well equipped attractive modernised property in a very central location with many key sites in Bath and very good selection of restaurants, cafes and bars within very easy walking distance. Lovely light filled rooms and some side views of the leafy small Queen Square park. Although the property does not have its own parking we were able to avail of short term parking immediately outside and longer stay at the nearby open air Charlotte Street car park. Others have mentioned the steep stairs to the bedrooms at the top of the house but this did not bother us. There is only 1 bathroom on the top floor amidst the three bedrooms but there are ample bathrooms most with showers on each floor. We loved the spacious modern kitchen with large kitchen table -nice to be able to gather around. There is a bar with an open air roof top opposite at a distance which did not intrude but there was a bit of residual noise on the Friday evening. As a group of 4 friends we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this very comfortable lovely property.

Modern facilities in a heritage building in a great location

This is an outstanding holiday rental in a fabulous location. The beds and pillows are great, the house is warm and clean and the rooms are large and comfortable. We loved the modern kitchen. This is a 4 story walk-up and there is a toilet on each floor.

Could have been much better

The property lacked any home comforts, it was very sparse throughout. The cleanliness needed attention, particularly around light fittings and at higher levels. We even found a coffee cup in the sitting room on the window sill There was a blind missing in the sitting room and hooks off at another window. There are bulbs not working and a broken light fitting on one landing. There were not enough towels, we had to request more. We had no heating on the top floor for 24 hours, on a very cold night additional heating should have been offered, you don’t expect to have to wear a coat to bed. The master bedroom ensuite smelt awful. Two shower gel dispensers were empty. Overall a disappointing property, certainly not value for money.

Spacious centrally-located townhome renovated with impeccable taste!

The pictures of this property do not do it justice. All the rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed. Our family of eight including two children, four adults and two seniors, were very impressed with the attention to detail in this beautiful property. The chef’s kitchen is wonderfully equipped. Excellent central location. There are lots of stairs, but we would all love to stay here again!
