Just cold like camping
The pub restaurant has fantastic food and nice staff although the room was cold already when we arrived and an extra electric radiator was is place. We woke up at the middle of the night and all central radiators were off, we musste take the kids into our bed to warm up! The radiator was on only at 6:30 am.
Not recomendável during winter time
Staff very friendly and polite. Happy to help ,clean ,neat and tidy, food was great. Had the breakfast at extra cost well worth it. Great stay

Very Cold
The hotel room in itself was fine it was clean and decor quite acceptable.
However we arrived on a day where it had been raining consistently and was cold, even by September standards.
There was no heating in the bedroom as the radiator was not connected to the heating system, the radiator in the bathroom was warm for the bottom three inches only and needed bleeding.
When we arrived back after our night out the heating was on in the passageway and we were optimistic, but of course our room was very cold.
The bed was fine and clean but the quilt was a very thin summer type and the supplementary blanket in the wardroom was only a single.
