"We wanted to stay at Mizpah Hotel due to its notoriety as America's "most haunted" hotel! The "ghost tour" was cheesy; should focus more on actual history with a few spooky stories to punctuate it rather than playing with dowsing rods, repurposed stud finders and calling out to "spirits" in the dark basement. No "actual" supernatural encounters on our trip (hahaha). We loved the antique charm of the place. Staff and service was great. Not much in the way of amenities, but wasn't expecting much...

"Nicely renovated historic building with spacious rooms and comfortable bed. Especially appreciated how quiet the room was, including an efficient and low noise hvac unit. Staff were gracious and helpful. Includes access to a big well-stocked gym next door. Only downside was that the hotel cafe was closed because of staffing, but it looked nice "
