「Would have given 4/5 stars, as staff were friendly & helpful, food & drink excellent, location fab and room & bed were lovely and clean, BUT: 1. no net curtains (and it was hot so wanted to open window and heavy curtains to let air in overnight and in the morning, but no privacy without net curtains or a blind. 「Through Expedia, I've been able to secure several nice stays for budget prices. This was a different, inferior experience. They tried to make it seem 'economy' .I was annoyed by automatic messages from 'Harry' telling me to text after 2 for a code, when check in started and when I'd arrive by pre-arranged means. I needed to swiftly check in but when I texted a little earlier to ensure my instructions arrived on time, I got an immediate response "19 mins and counting!" Then, when in the adjacent...

「Guys we are in the middle of a heat wave I said it’s appresive in the room came back after work the next day still no fan in the room Don’t stay here if there is a heat warning - also didn’t help having the maintenance team scrapping banging under my room after the first night. Would I stay again - yes if there’s air con - staff have been very good.」

「My daughter and I stayed at the Fox and Coney because we were attending a wedding locally. The management ensured we had a twin room. The room was clean. There were tea and coffee making facilities (much appreciated) the bathroom was nice with plenty of loo roll. There was plenty of space to hang our clothes. The beds were comfortable and I slept well. Breakfast next morning was excellent - both the food and the service. I would stay here again.」
