Barnafoss

The staff were excellent and very helpful

First off, we were on the 4th floor and there is no elevator. We had been traveling already for 3 weeks and had 2 large suitcases to carry up the stairs. Very beat up hotel. Furniture battered etc. no Kleenex in room. Only shampoo in shower. Small room but very depressing. 2nd morning at 6:30 AM the fire alarm went off. People were obviously smoking in their room. I only stayed here because we were meeting a group nearby. On a positive note, the breakfast was decent and the staff nice. I cannot recommend this hotel.

The staff were just so lovely - makes such a difference to have kind helpful people assisting you! the place is beautiful and the spa was divine
