"This cabin is a delight. The owners have clearly considered their guests' comfort and enjoyment. The outside path to the fire pit has lights that automatically illuminate in the evening and then turn off later. The decor is natural and comfortable, blending into the woodland environment. He even paid us a visit the next day to offer any needed help. "The A-frame itself was cozy and well-stocked, and it exceeded our expectations for comfort. We slept very well up in the loft, with the sound of the Skykomish lulling us to sleep. The hot tub was a nice bonus, too. But the real star of this show was the jaw-dropping scenery. To be surrounded by soaring jagged peaks and high forested ridges, with the turquoise river churning by, was awe-inspiring."

"I don't like to give negative reviews but this was the worst experience in vacation rentals I have ever had. The house was filthy! The mattresses were moldy, the kitchen didn't have hardly any dishes (2 plates for a house the can sleep 20). The treehouse floor fell through on one of our children. Luckily he was not injured. Communication was ok until we told them all of the problems then it was crickets! Not a word from the owner to me or VRBO. This house is not fit for guests. But with alot...

Because our flight back home wasn't for three more days, I fixed me a place in a recliner in front of the big picture window with a view of the river and mountains. What a restful place to be! Now that we are home, I still wish for a recliner seat with a river mountain view, good for the body, good for the soul! We think we need to return after I heal for a make-up vacation!"
