Ski To Me, Sugar Mountain

Retreat to the mountains of North Carolina in this adorable cozy cottage. Close to hiking, skiing, restaurants, and shopping! We have all the conveniences of a smart home... Smart TV's in each room, high speed internet & easy access Yale Smart Lock. We have board games for nights staying in, plus a cozy fireplace for chilly mountain nights. A sectional sofa for relaxing, a gas grill for cooking outside, small back deck for lounging. Stay a few days or a week, you’ll have everything you need!
The space
Beautiful TWO level condo with bedroom and bathroom upstairs. Tastefully decorated with a queen size bed and full living room that can sleep an additional 2 people with a blow-up queen mattress.
2ND floor condo, up the stairs and 2nd door on right.

Other things to note
Please be careful on steps when the weather is wet. It can become slippery. Please take shoes off at the door during the wet weather. Take all ski wear/ski boots off outside to keep the condo floor from getting wet.

We had a wonderful stay! So close to Sugar Mountain. The host was very welcoming and communicative. The place was stocked with just the right amount of things. We enjoyed a family game night! We would definitely stay here again!

The only issue is that the property did not clearly list or show how many steps to get into property. My husband can typically handle indoor stairs, but the outdoor ones were difficult.

Dissapointed

Let me start by saying, the inside of this condo was very nice, and the upgrades were spot on.However, I was looking forward to sitting out on the porch by the views of the pictures posted online. Upon arrival it was clear that the ground maintenance/landscaping around the entrance and the grounds near the porch had not been cut in quite a while. The porch had not been swept and the cushions on the seating were mildewed and had not been changed in sometime. One more thing. It would’ve been nice to have central air. I was traveling by myself and did not feel comfortable leaving the windows open during the night. For others that may not be a problem. This caused the condo to be very muggy and musty.

This place was clean, in a great location and as described. The check in & check out were easy and clearly communicated. The host was very communicative throughout our stay. The bed, blankets, and pillows were all comfortable. It was a huge help to have the box fan in the room to help with air flow as the upstairs can get warm. We were here in July though, so as expected. Would highly recommend to anyone and we hope to return.

Incredibly Well Stocked

We stayed for 6 nights knowing we were not going to go out to dinner every night, we planned on making dinner in the evenings. To my surprise, the place was stocked with all kitchen gadgets that one may need. Stocked with a wine opener, veggie peeler, even measuring cups, also spices, sugar, coffee and cooking oil/spray. The only thing we had to buy was food. I have never stayed at a place that was stocked like this one. The place was very nice and comfortable. We even played some board games that were available to us as well. We would stay here again in the future. Thank you
