"Great hotel for this area, stayed at the PS Inn before with pet. Pet fee $15/night. Convenient dog walking space around the hotel, lots of electric car charging stations at the parking lot. Starbucks at the gas station 1 min down the road. Breakfast included but don’t expect much beside yogurt, coffee and bagels, there are good fast food and restaurants just short walk away but all are usually crowded in the summer be prepaired to spend extra 15 mins in the lineup. Overall great option, will stay at PS Inn again."
"We chose Sherwood Inn as it was close to a number of smaller towns we wanted to visit. The older design and setting of the inn is a charm on its own; and everything was well managed and running well.
The rooms are a bit dated, but very comfortable and had everything needed for a weekend stay. The breakfast buffet is excellent value for money, covering all the options on most breakfast menus; and the bar has great range supported by an excellent bartender.
We did hike the trails on the property, which had great views of Lake Joseph and the forests. The trails themselves are poorly marked and the map provided by the reception is woefully out of sync with the actual trails on the ground. "
"Easy to access from the highway. Pet friendly with a fee. The rooms were very clean and updated. We had a courtyard facing room which was really nicely set up with firepit, bbq, and nice red adirondack chairs and cute patio lighting. The restaurant had live music, however, we couldn't attend as we were travelling with our dog. The only downfall is the Roku TV in the room which is very hard to navigate or find live sports on. We would definitely stay here again on our travels to Manitoulin Island. It's a nice way to break up the trip when you have to drive around rather than taking the ferry."

"Clean space, beautiful location, good value for a friend group or famlies. The hists were very accommodating and were available to answer any of our questions in time. We really liked the stay we had for one night at this location, the fireplaces and heating were working great and kept us really cozy. "
"The 1 bedroom cabin was spacious and clean. We were there at the beginning of November when temps were low. The cabin has electric heat and we were very comfortable. WiFi worked well as did the TV, stove and refrigerator and freezer. The views of Gaunt Bay were beautiful."
