"The property was nice and clean. Parking was easy, right on the property. Located right on the beach and footpath, so the ocean view was nice. The owner supplied all of the usual conveniences in the kitchen and bath. I was concerned about the Alexa device that seemed to be always listening, so we unplugged it. The radiator beside the tele was emitting an electronic signal, but I could not find the actual source. We were unable to operate the heating, so it was a little chillier than we expected....

"We stayed in the Oak Suite. Was amazing. Loved the little reading nook. Front Desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was good. Incredible view from property, and loved the little museum on property that showed the Davidson Clan history."

"I have stayed here before numerous times over the last 20 years. The rooms and punkic spaces are always clean. The rooms arent big but thats not a problem. Parking is good and plenty of it, the staff were really helpful and pleasant at all times. The breakfast in the morning was good, just what you would expect from a hotel buffet breakfast. The only issue I have are the mattresses in the rooms, wow..... really are the worst I have ever slept on in a hotel. I dont remember them ever been that bad. They were so firm and hard, I didnt get a good sleep. But other than that....I had a good stay and enjoyed how clean it was."

"The new owners have a lot of work to do and have plans going forward. Rome wasn’t built in a day but they are doing their best. My room was comfortable and I had a couple of issues which were rectified as soon as they were made known to the staff. The food was good and the staff were all friendly and welcoming. "For an unknown reason receiving the entry details was difficult but eventually successful. The room was clean and the facilities were very good. The decor won’t please everyone but the invisible staff refreshed towels and drinks efficiently. Aware that no food service was available the presence of the fridge was helpful to store our own items. Didn’t try the recommended place for breakfast. It was a fair price to reach Findhorn and Forres for the festival. When the noise issue was mysteriously fixed it was a comfortable stay."
