"This resort is 1st class in everything they do. The resort grounds and rooms were amazing, the food was top notch, afternoon tea was classy and staff was there to help in every way. "
"The pool was fabulous and the spa/massage was excellent. We also loved the amazing breakfast.
Finally, the people who worked at the hotel could not have been more attentive or helpful. Overall a perfect stay. "
"The experience was exceptional, with the location, service, cuisine, and staff all meeting the highest standards. Overall, it was a truly remarkable experience."
"I stayed a week at Vaneka house deluxe room and had a wonderful time. The host family were extremely nice and accommodating. The banana pancakes were delicious. The room had everything I needed and was clean and comfortable. The place is awake from the city and in a quiet rural road. I rented a scooter from hosts and it is needed to travel to and from the place (or you could use one of the app based taxis/bikes). Highly recommended."
"A nice quiet location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was spacious. Good variety and quality of in-house meals and drinks. Minor issue with plumbing (sink and bathtub were slow to drain)."

"We had an incredible stay at The Kayon Jungle Resort. The property is tucked into the jungle with gorgeous views and a peaceful vibe, with only 38 rooms and suites. We stayed in a private jungle-view pool suite, and it was everything we hoped for: relaxing, comfortable, and surrounded by nature.
The staff truly made our stay special. Lia was especially kind and attentive when my daughter wasn’t feeling well, and Sapti, Yoga, and Kristna were equally warm and professional. Every team member we met showed genuine care and pride in their work (I asked. It turns out it comes from the top, and it shows). Shout out to our driver, Sandi, as well, for waiting patiently while we explored the Monkey Forest on our way to the next hotel.
The pools are stunning, the design is beautiful, and the whole place feels like a luxurious retreat. The food was excellent across the board, great flavors, generous portions, and beautifully presented. Room service was especially impressive, and we relied on it quite a bit when my daughter wasn’t feeling well.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for something quiet, personal, and authentic near Ubud.
One thing to note: the resort is open to non-guests from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. for pool, food, and drinks, but guests get access from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., which was a nice bonus."
"Spectacular in every aspect. The property is so serene, our room was amazing with a view from the balcony that was paradise. The spa was exceptional and our couple massage was fantastic. Breakfast and Dinner were delicious with a lovely view of the trees and kites flying high in the sky! But most of all the entire staff provided friendly and outstanding service! Attention to every need we could possibly imagine. If you are looking for peace, tranquility and relaxation this is your perfect destination."

"This property and the staff were absolutely phenomenal. I couldn't have wished for a better start to my stay in Bali. I stayed here for 3 nights and had a hill view room with lovely views, granted that I had to be ready to face monkeys as they did come and walk along it, hang off chairs etc. Be mindful to keep food out of sight. The ambience at this hotel is chilled, calm and helps you to immerse in the culture. I loved it and would stay again. The hotel sent me a tray of desserts expressing with a card wishing me well after I sustained an injury on an excursion. Such care. Also the food here was out of this world. "
"Stay was during May-25 at the Akohara retreat in Ubud. On arrival greeted by staff with flower garland, drinks and local traditional dance. This is definitely a couples retreat. Our room was six levels down a mountain, some 405 steps down. We used the inclinator elevator to travel between our room and main pool and restaurant. We stayed in the Pertiwi One Bedroom Pool Villa, wow. Room is well decorated and of a very good standard. Out door gazebo area and sun deck with mini bar. Room has a four poster bed and seated area. Outdoor private shower, wash room all hidden away and contained within the villa no prying eyes. Pool is awesome with a built in bathroom on the side. Food is all table service and the quality of the food is excellent standard. The main pool by the restaurant is heated with multiple levels for some breath taking views of the tropical jungle. Went for a 3 hour couples spa treatment which included a massage, body scrub, body mask and flower bath and were given a choice of which oils we wanted to use for massage. By far the best spa experience ever. If our stay was longer would have definitely booked it again. Staff are amazing and can’t do enough for you and happy to assist and advise. All in all an exceptional retreat and one I would definitely recommend and return without a doubt. 10 out 10.
Sukh"
"This is a beautiful and peaceful resort. We loved our one-bedroom pool villa. It was so refreshing and relaxing. Best of all were the people who run the resort. They went beyond my expectations to provide us with the best stay. Everyone was so friendly and genuine. I was so sad to say goodbye. If I return to Bali, I will return to the Komaneka!"
