Sicily is an amazing town but the accomodation at the villa was the worst ever. Starting with the basic cleaning status of the villa, the toilet is teribble very very old . The shower is compeltely rusted.. there is no garabage bin (which is considered a basic thing). The surrounding area without a car is unsafe due to dangerous free dogs, although we were not informed about that. The tenant is not honest at all especially regarding electricity consumption. He mentioned in the website that the average electricity consumption for 2 people is 30 euros per a week (0.27 euros per kwh). And this was not true at all, Piero said I have to pay 40 Euros although I have only stayed for 3 days and did not even use hot water, washing maching or hair dryer. He let us pay 40 euros for 3 days although we just turned on the lights maybe 1 hour in total, furthermore we spent most of the time outside, we just slept there. He was like we have to pay for the pool electricity costs.. We were also asked to clean the pool although I payed 50 euros for cleaning. In addition, the villa is full of flying insects (mosquito) that pinch. After this experience I would never trust renting a private place again. There are many hotels in the area that would have been much better and cheaper. I dont recommend this villa at all.
