"We had an absolutely amazing stay at Fixin' to Chill! The location is unbeatable- just steps from the beach and about 5 minutes to the shops! The house is very clean, well kept, and fully stocked with all the amenities you could possibly need or want, making it feel like a true home away from home. The garage apartment was a fantastic feature, offering extra privacy and space for our group! Jeff was incredibly responsive and friendly, which made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. We couldn't have asked for a better spot for a family getaway. Highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay on Bald Head Island."

"This was a perfect get-away spot! It's a small house, tall and narrow, but beautifully constructed, with lots of little nooks that make great use of the space. The same can be said of the kitchen, which despite being quite petite was one of the best-stocked I've experienced in a rental home—my husband and I had everything we needed to cook up a Thanksgiving dinner! Dianne was a gracious, accommodating and communicate host. Highly recommended for a couple or small family group. "

"Our family had a wonderful October stay! The cottage was absolutely beautiful and Melanie was a wonderful host! We were so impressed with the space, comfortable & beautiful rooms, the nature surrounding the cottage and all the great touches that made us feel welcome and at home! We also really enjoyed the convenience of being able to use the 2 golf carts! We loved hopping in a golf cart and driving to all the different beach accesses, restaurants, the lighthouse, market, BHI club, marina and just exploring the island! We loved seeing all the deer and beautiful birds too! We did not want to leave and looking forward to returning! "
